How screens work offline

A broken connection never means a black screen.

Every player downloads its content and keeps it on the device: files, playlists, schedules and working hours.

Without internet

  • The screen keeps playing what it has, following its schedules and working hours by itself.
  • Apps with live data (exchange rates, orders, queue) keep showing the last data they received.
  • Web pages, YouTube, live streams and news need the internet and may not show.

When the connection is back

The screen checks for changes, downloads what is new and continues. You don't need to do anything.

Use Content status on the screen's page to see whether a screen has everything it needs before you rely on it offline.
